INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT-KASHIPUR
Indian Institute of Management Kashipur also known as IIM Kashipur is a public business school located in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, India. It is one of the thirteen Indian Institutes of Management the government has set up during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan. The foundation stone was laid on 29 April 2011.
The Indian Institute of Management Kashipur is a new entrant in the elite league of IIMs. The institute is set up with the objective of providing quality management education while sensitizing students towards the needs of the society.
IIM Kashipur commenced operations from July 2011 under the mentorship of IIM Lucknow. The institute offers Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), a two-year full-time residential programme. The rigorous curriculum seeks to instill a passion for knowledge and the ability to apply that knowledge to real-life scenarios. The programme lays emphasis on all-round personality development and inculcates the values of leadership and integrity.
The institute is located in one of the most densely industrialized regions in the country with over 180 industries having plants in and around the region and many more coming up. This places the institute at a vantage point when it comes to ‘Learning by Doing’ via frequent industry interactions and live projects.
The Institute also offers a two year weekend Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGPM) for working executives. Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) and Executive Fellow Programme (EFPM) are the two doctoral programmes launched in 2015 and 2014 respectively. The faculty at IIM Kashipur represents the best mix of academic and industrial experiences.

IIM- Kashipur -Eligibility and Admission Criteria
- All the interested candidates who are looking for admissions at IIM- Kashipur -MBA must have scored 50% in their graduation from any recognized institute or university.
- Candidates appearing for their final year in bachelor’s degree can also apply for programs at IIM- Kashipur -MBA but shall produce documents in regards to the B-School’s admission criterion.
- All candidates are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT 2019 after scoring above the cutoff percentile required for admissions at IIM- Kashipur -MBA candidates are needed to apply for program separately with an Application Form which is available online on the University’s Website.
IIM- Kashipur -Admission Process
- All applicants have to register for any national level entrance test like CAT etc for getting admission in any management courses in the college and should have scores eligible for getting admission at the IIM- Kashipur -MBA
- With your score in the respective entrance exam, you will be shortlisted for GD-PI, which is the final admission round.
- After completion of the GD-PI round, admission offer will be made based on the exam score, GD-PI, Academics, Work Experience. The admission offer will be made in the month as declared by the college on its official website. IIM - Kashipur MBA will shortlist the Candidates on the basis of information provided in the application form, CAT scores, educational background, work experience, and other parameters.
- Final Selection will be provided to interested candidates on the basis of series of tests taken by the college which are a case study followed by a group discussion on a given topic, than the qualifying and interested candidates would have to appear for a Personal Interview.
- Selected candidates, after going through contents of the admission offer letter, need to confirm and accept the offer with the terms and conditions for taking admission to the program through “Acceptance Letter”.
- All the candidates who have been offered admission have to pay the fees as stipulated in the admission offer; otherwise, they would forfeit their seat to the person next on the waiting list.
