The Punjab University Tourism & Hospitality Entrance Test (PUTHAT) online application process has commenced. This is a common entrance exam for admission to Punjab University Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM) programmes.

The Punjab University Tourism & Hospitality Entrance Test (PUTHAT) online application process has commenced. This is a common entrance exam for admission to Punjab University's Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM) programmes.

 

Chandigarh is home to Panjab University, which was founded 130 years ago. These programmes are offered by the University Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism (UIHMT), which was founded in 2009.

 

The following is the selection procedure for BHMCT and BTTM:

 

- An aptitude test, current events, general awareness, verbal reasoning, and hospitality sector awareness are all part of the admissions process.

- Shortlisted candidates must go through counselling.

The percentage scale is calculated by obtaining a least of 15% (cut off) aggregation of maximum scores throughout the entire test.

- The overall number of candidates admitted to the university is roughly 99.
