The Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow (IET, Lucknow) is a state government-supported technical establishment in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a constituent school of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (past Uttar Pradesh Technical University). IET was built up by the government of Uttar Pradesh in 1984, for bestowing specialized instruction. The organization is completely financed by Uttar Pradesh Government and is being directed by the Executive Committee of Gautam Buddha Technical University. The foundation is completely private. The establishment was in the past affiliated(1984-2000) to the University of Lucknow and from 2000-2012 to Uttar Pradesh Technical University.
