The Center disclosed to the Supreme Court on Friday that no additional attempt would be given to UPSC applicants who couldn't show up in the October 2020 test because of the Covid-19 circumstance. This was during the hearing about an appeal documented by aspirants, requesting an extra UPSC test attempt considering the pandemic. SC has requested that the Center record a testimony with respect to the decision and posted the issue for additional consultation on January 25.

About UPSC tests

The UPSC Prelims 2020 for Civil Services Preliminary and Indian Forest Services Preliminary Examination 2020 were hung on October 4. The Union Public Service Commission or UPSC Prelims assessment 2020 outcomes were proclaimed on October 24.
