In the live webinar session, while interacting with the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Union Minister Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal discussed that the Board Examination will be based on the revised syllabus as discussed earlier in previous live sessions. The CBSE Board has reduced the syllabus for the board exams of class 10th and 12th keeping in view the Covid- 19 pandemic situation.

However, the Union Minister also cleared the air about the JEE and NEET exam and he said that there is no reduction in the syllabus of JEE Main and NEET.

In the live webinar session, the Education Minister said, “The students will only have to study the revised syllabus for their CBSE board exams and other state board exams. The questions will only be asked from that portion”

In the live session, Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal also informed that very soon schools will start operating in offline mode for the students. Further, he added that along with the offline classes the schools will also continue operating in online mode as well.

Earlier in the previous live webinar, Education Minister, Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal had declared the dates for the CBSE Board Exams and JEE dates respectively. The CBSE Board Exams are going to be held from the 4th of May 2021 to10th of June 2021. The practical exams for the same will start from 1st of March 2021 respectively. The CBSE Board results are expected to be out by the 15th of July 2021.

As far as JEE Main is concerned, it has already been declared that it’s going to be held in four sessions, February, March, April, and May respectively. The last date for the registration of JEE Main 2021 is the 23rd of January 2021.
