GGSIPU New-Delhi is one of the well recognized top notch university, there are several colleges affiliated to the main IPU.
Now the University School of Management Studies (USMS) at GGSIPU and its affiliated colleges will accept score of CAT 2019 exam which was conducted on November 24, 2019. The MBA admission in the GGSIPU affiliated colleges is through central counseling process to be conducted by GGSIPU in Delhi. Indraprastha University was established in 1998, there are several colleges affiliated to the main IPU which accepts common entrance criteria for admission in different course under the IPU curriculum. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers various MBA programs with a range of specializations. There are ranges of courses offered in the affiliated colleges with IPU and University School of Management Studies (USMS) at GGSIPU.
Indraprastha University-Eligibility and Admission Criteria
  • The student must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in the final in any stream OR He/she must also have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the final or equivalent OR shall have passed final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or Company Secretaries exam.
  • Candidates appearing for final examinations towards a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply provided they complete all the requirements of graduation before June 30, 2020
  • A candidate applying for admissions should have applied and appeared in any of the national entrance exam such as CAT/CMAT or the candidate shall appear for IPU CET 2020 and must score minimum cut off score in the entrance exam to become eligible for admission.
Indraprastha University- Admission Process
  • Applicant has to register for and appear for the relevant CAT/CMAT or IPU CET entrances and score the respective cutoff scores required for admissions at Indraprastha University.
  • With your score in the respective entrance exam you will be shortlisted for GD-PI, which is the final admission round
  • After completion of GD-PI round, admission offer will be made based on the exam score, GD-PI, Academics, Work Experience. The admission offer will be made in the month of May 2020
  • Selected candidates, after going through contents of the admission offer letter, need to confirm and accept the offer with the terms and conditions for taking admission to the program through “Acceptance Letter”.
  • All the candidates who have been offered admission have to pay the fees as stipulated in the admission offer; otherwise they would forfeit their seat to the person next on the waiting list.
