MH-CET-PREPARATION TIPS

Maharashtra-Common Admission Test is focused on Maharashtra statewide management colleges and B-schools and universities, many top colleges in Pune and Mumbai accept admission through MH- CET, It is one of the most anticipated and on a wide scale accepted state level entrance tests in the country. Students from any state may apply to MH- CET. MH- CET is also known as MAH- CET is organized by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. Candidates appearing for the entrance test must qualify it in order to get admission in various institutions located in this state. More than 300 Business Schools accept admission through MH-CET into their respective MBA and PGDM.  Fees for students from any state are 1000 Rs. In the general category, and 800 Rs. for reserved candidates. MAH CET official notification is to be out in the second week of January 2020, and the exam to be held in the second week of March 2020.
About three months of preparation is left for the MH-CET exam, giving the nature of exam many interested candidates would have started preparations, CAT and SNAP have concluded next important exams would be CMAT, XAT, and MH-CET.
Preparations Tips-
  • Brushing Up Basics-
For preparing yourself for the exam such as MH-CET itself, you should be all clear in mind about the basics of what you’re attempting you should read articles, solve reasoning questions and puzzles, and clear all the topics’ basics rules and tricks in quant. The question asked is based on basics 10th standard level, but in a complex form so first clear your basics up, guys.

  • Mock Test and Online Material-
After brushing up your basics on quant, reasoning, and language, you should start practicing more and more on each topic separately and try to solve at least 1 mock test paper per day. The key is that practice more so you get more chances to cracking MH-CET.  There is plenty of study material available online, try to gulp as much as you can. You can also consider study material offline by some coaching institutes. These online papers are designed on the latest exam pattern and syllabus of the aspired test.

  • Syllabus-
Cover each topic from the online prescribed syllabus. Check the exam pattern and marking scheme before starting your preparation. Candidates are advised to visit the MH-CET website to check regular updates regarding the exam so that they also remain aware of the exam’s related updates. MH-CET syllabus is about the same as CAT and other management entrance tests.

  • Form a Strategy-A Strategy in approaching the MH-CET exam is very important, as important as the syllabus preparing part, if you don’t form any strategies you will get indulge in wasting time on unnecessary issues and resulting in a bad overall score and that will not be good. Now the question arises how to form and what to form in a strategy, so a perfect answer would be if you had attempted enough mock tests and had prepared on almost every topic, you will get to know the structure of strategy. So go solve as much as you can.
