WHY INDIA IS TRANSFORMING INTO A RAPE CAPITAL

Recent Hyderabad rape case has left country in shock and mourns, people are angry, people are shocked, and people are in grief over the animalistic behavior of mankind. Our country India is known for our rich culture and heritage, which talks about how we respected our women and how we treated or women equal to goddess, and a symbol of prestige, so what happened to this modern generation, according to Wikipedia, The conviction rate for rape cases in India was 44.3 percent in 1973, 37.7 percent in 1983, 26.9 percent in 2009, 26.6 percent in 2010, 26.4 percent in 2011, 24.2% in 2012 and 27.1% in 2013.
In my view, we have failed our ancestors and our freedom fighters, and all the people who had worked for our safety and well being for our women. All candle marches, outrage on social media and forwarding messages on Whatsapp, won’t change the society; it may change the mindset of few people for few moments.
Legal Penalization-
Let’s talk about rape laws by giving examples in some country which had taken rape cases, they way they should be treated, and had given the maximum sentence to them.
French laws-
They hand out 15 year sentences for rape, which can be extended to 30 or life depending on the extent of damage and brutality.
China-
The sentence for rape in China is death, which some might laud for their swiftness, Castration is also used in some cases.
Saudi Arabia-
The punishment for rape in Saudi Arabia is a public beheading after administering the rapist with a sedative.
North Korea-
This dictatorship sentences rapists to death by firing squad.

Afghanistan-
Convicted rapists here are shot in the head within 4 days or hanged to death depending on the judgment handed out by the court.
India rape laws
After the Anti Rape Bill of April 2013, culprits are liable to life imprisonment (which is actually 14 years), imprisonment for entire life and even the death sentence in the rarest of rare cases. The amendment also expanded to include a lot of other kinds of sexual assault that amount to rape. Problem in India is the long, weary and ineffective which leads to delayed decisions and sometimes rapists gets free too, due to heavy corruption in our system.
What are better, extreme laws towards rape cases or continuing the ineffective judicial penalty system of our country? There might be two groups divided into support of law and second which believe in only and only extremist behaviors towards rapists.
Extremists’ laws would need fast track courts and top priority to these types of cases and solve them as fast as possible and give them the highest possible degree of penalty. Many famous personalities had come forward and supported the idea; others have a firm belief in Indian laws and judiciary system.
Heinously shameful facts-
