Centre has given rules for mass Covid-19 vaccination drives in the nation. Health and Family Welfare Ministry are intending to vaccinate almost 30 crore individuals during the principal stage. Pfizer, Serum Institute of India, and Bharat Biotech have applied for market authorization for their Covid-19 Vaccines. The vaccination drive will begin once the government gives approval to the emergency utilization of COVID-19 vaccines.

The vaccination will be offered first to medical care workers, frontline workers, and to people over 50 years old. It will be trailed by people younger than 50 years old with related comorbidities lastly to the remaining populace. All together 20 ministries will deal with the whole cycle.

The COVID Vaccine Intelligence Network (Co-WIN) framework — a digitalized stage — will be utilized to follow enrolled recipients for the vaccination and anti corona vaccines consistently.
