National Scholarship (All States)

To get the renewal of the scholarship, students are required to submit the progress report every year at the beginning of the academic season only.

National Talent Search Scholarships (NTS)

NTS scholarship is awarded to students of 10+ 2. But those who want to pursue further can continue getting the NTS Scholarship for the education of Under graduation as well. To renew the scholarship after 10+ 2, the students are required to fill the scholarship renewal form which is issued by NCERT in the start of the academic session that subsequent year.

Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, Central Sector Scholarship For SC Students

Based on the JEE scores, this scholarship is granted to students considering the terms and conditions. The prime condition to get this scholarship along with the JEE rank is that the annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs 2 Lakh annually. In this particular scholarship, there are also various reimbursement processes:

 

 

  • A onetime personal payment compensation of Rs.45,000/-
  • Monthly living expenses of Rs 2,200/- per month

  • Books and stationery Rs 3,000/-per annum

Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 

This particular scholarship is granted to minority students like Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, Parsis, Buddhists, etc. The guideline also says that the family income should not exceed 2.5 lakhs annually. The amount of scholarship is basically sanctioned by the Government of State. Also, 30 percent of the scholarship is reserved for girl students.

 

  • Maintenance Expenses @ Rs.10,000/- p.a. for hostellers,

    & @ Rs.5,000/- for day-scholars

  • Reimbursement of the course fee is restricted to Rs.20,000/- or the original fee, Considering whichever amount is less

Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India – Central Sector Scholarship For ST Students

Based on the JEE ranking, this scholarship is granted to the top 5 students in the rank list. Also, the family income should not be more than 2 laks annually. Also must go through the reimbursement process.

 

  • Monthly living expenses of Rs 2,200/- per month

  • Books and stationery Rs 3,000/-per annum

MHRD Scholarship for A Single Girl Child 

This particular scholarship is awarded to girl students as per the Government of India norms. A payment of Rs.40,000/- per year is awarded.

 

Inspire Scholarship (Department of Science and Technology, Government of India) 

This scholarship is granted to those students who are in dual degree courses such as B.S. & M.S, and 5 years Dual Degree B.Tech & M.Tech. The amount of this scholarship is Rs 60,000/- annually.
