National Testing Agency (NTA), an independent, autonomous and self- sustained premier testing organization has been established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) which is now called the Ministry of Education. The National Testing Agency has been established under Society Registration Act 1860 to conduct efficient, transparent and international standards tests in the country. The purpose of establishing NTA is to properly assess the candidate’s competency to get admissions to renowned and premier education institutions.

The responsibility of conduction of JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination) has been given to NTA by The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (that is now Ministry of Education), Government of India from the year 2019 onwards.

JEE Main consists of two papers primarily:

Paper 1: JEE Main Paper 1 is for getting admission in Undergraduate Engineering Courses such as B.E./ B. Tech at institutes like IIITs, NITs and also other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs).

Paper 2: JEE Main Paper 2 is an eligibility test for JEE(advanced), and this one is particularly conducted for getting admission to IITs.

JEE Main 2021 is going to be conducted in more than one sessions (that is multiple sessions) followed as February, March, April and May 2021 to get admission in the upcoming academic session. The main points regarding JEE Main 2021 are mentioned below:

1.       JEE Main 2021 will provide various opportunities to the aspiring candidates to better their scores in the subsequent JEE Main Exam if they are unable to give their best shot in the first attempt of JEE Main 2021.

2.      When the candidates will appear for the first time they will get the better understanding of the examination pattern and also they will be able to improve themselves in the next JEE Main 2021 attempt by improving and getting better learning from the previous made mistakes

3.      Multiple chances to appear for JEE Main 2021 will reduce the year drop chances of the aspirants and they will not be required to waste their complete academic year

4.      On the off chance, if there is some emergency or some other reason which forces the candidate to not appear for the JEE Main 2021 at the first place, they could make it to several other JEE Main 2021 attempts considering they would not waste their complete academic year.
