Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan Awardee Ratan Tata to be presented with the prestigious-Global Visionary of Sustainable Business and Peace Award.

Global Visionary of Sustainable Business and Peace Award

For promoting innovation that supports sustainability and peace in the region, including with the Palestinians, Ratan Tata to be honoured by the Indo-Israel Chambers of Commerce.  

Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan Awardee Ratan Tata to be presented with the prestigious 'Global Visionary of Sustainable Business and Peace' Award. Ratan Tata is going to be honoured with the prestigious 'Global Visionary of Sustainable Business and Peace' Award during the Federation of Indo-Israel Chamber of Commerce's international chapter launch in Dubai on 21st of December.

The ceremony will be held virtually and will be attended by senior officials from Israel, India as well as UAE.

Raviv Byron, President of Israel-India Chamber of Commerce said, "Tata has done a lot for India-Israel ties. He has generously contributed towards promoting innovation that supports sustainability and has been a promoter of peace in the region, including with the Palestinians. He has visited Israel a few times which has been extremely beneficial in promoting ties between the two countries. He very well deserves this honour".

Raviv Byron further added, "There is a large presence of Indian diaspora in the UAE and Bahrain which includes top professionals who are well established and respected. Given the close ties between Israel and India, we can definitely work together to develop a framework for trilateral cooperation in the Gulf".

 Federation of Indo-Israel Chamber of Commerce's international chapter in Dubai is first of its kind to build business opportunities together in other countries as well, and also to develop trilateral collaborations.

During his visit to Israel in 2013, Tata had consented to an arrangement with Israel Aerospace Industry (IAI) to together create, assembling and backing a wide scope of defence and aerospace items including rockets, UAVs, radars, electronic warfare systems and country security frameworks.
