IMT Ghaziabad is a premier B-school location in Uttar Pradesh city of Ghaziabad, established in 1980; IMT Ghaziabad is an AICTE approved business school. The admission criteria will be the common admission process with common application form for all the IMT campuses including Ghaziabad, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Dubai.
IMT Ghaziabad- Admission and Eligibility criteria
- IMT Ghaziabad has opened its PGDM admission 2020 application process on August 23, and the last date to apply is November 22, 2019 (Tentative). The application process for IMT Ghaziabad admission is online, but the final admission will be based on CAT/XAT score and GD/PI/WAT round.
- Candidates filling application program for the management courses with IMT Ghaziabad must hold a bachelor’s degree at the time of submitting the application, the fees for applications is 2000 Rs.
- Candidates must have secured 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in class 10th and 12th from a recognized board.
- Candidates should have completed 3-year graduation degree with 50% marks from a recognized university. Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
- IMT Ghaziabad will consider aggregate scores and not sectional scores of the applicants in the acceptable entrance exams for short listing.
- Post short-listing on the basis of available scores, applicants will be called for the final selection round (WAT & PI Round) at the designated centre. IMT Ghaziabad selection criteria after final admission round award 35% weight to Entrance exam score; 35% weight to Academics; 10% Weight to Work Experience and 20% weight to WAT & PI.

IMT Ghaziabad - Admission process
- Register and apply for at least one of the entrance exams – CAT 2019; XAT 2020; GMAT (Taken between Jan 1, 2019 and Feb 28, 2020.)
- The candidate should apply to IMT Ghaziabad by using the common application form for all the 4 IMT campuses. The application fee of Rs.2000/- can be paid online
- Complete the IMT application form. In the ‘Application Form’ the candidate must provide educational qualifications, contact details, and at least one of the following IDs: ID for CAT-2019 OR ID for XAT-2020 OR ID for GMAT. More than one test IDs can be submitted. The applicant is required to fill the IDs of the test scores he/she wishes to submit. In case of GMAT score update it by March 15, 2020.
- Candidates are short-listed for Writing Assessment Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) from among the eligible candidates who have a valid entrance exam score and have applied to the program of IMT Ghaziabad. The WAT & Personal Interview process will be conducted in the months of February/March 2020 and will be common for all the IMT Campuses.
- After the WAT & PI round, admission offers are made by IMT Ghaziabad to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in entrance exam, performance in PI round, academics, Work Experience among others
- Final Admission Offer will be made to the candidates in the last week of April 2020 on the basis of Final Score arrived after awarding the weight age scores on all the components.
