MDI GURGAON- ADMISSION PROCESS AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Management Development Institute- Gurgaon or most commonly known as MDI-Gurgaon is a premier B-School in New Delhi; MDI Gurgaon was established in 1973 by Industrial Finance Corporation. In 2014, MDI gurgaon inaugurated their 2nd campus in Murshidabad, West Bengal. The college is accredited by Association of MBAs (AMBA), London and was awarded South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQS) in 2005. MDI- Gurgaon is continuously ranked on the list of top B-schools in India, as the colleges was ranked 12th by NIRF ranking of best management institutions in India in 2018 and 6th by business today’s Best B-schools in India 2017. MDI Gurgaon- Admission and eligibility criteria
- MDI Gurgaon has released their official notification for the academic year of 2020-2022 for the admission in their management programs, applicants can apply around Sept 5- Nov 22 2019 (tentative). But final admission to their course would be based on CAT score and GD/PI round.
- Candidates filling application program for the management courses with MDI Gurgaon must hold a bachelor’s degree at the time of submitting the application, the fees for applications is 2596 Rs and for foreign national is 8496 Rs.
- Candidates must have secured 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in class 10th and 12th from a recognized board.
- Candidates should have completed 3-year graduation degree with 50% marks from a recognized university. Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
- For NMP/PGP-EM programs at MDI Gurgaon, a candidate must have completed 5 years of post work experience as on December 31st 2019.

MDI Gurgaon- Admission process
- The candidate must apply for, appear in and score the minimum required cut off percentile in CAT 2019 in regards with the cutoff at MDI Gurgaon
- Candidates should register and apply for admission to MDI Gurgaon before the last date which is to close on November 22, 2019.
- Candidates are short-listed for GD-PI-WAT Round from among the candidates who have a valid CAT-2019 score, who have applied for admission to MDI Gurgaon and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the program.
- The Shortlisted candidates need to login at MDI website and enter their order of program preference for PGPM/PGP-IM/PGP-HRM in the month of January/ February 2020. Preferences once filled will not be changed at any stage later on
- After the GD-PI round in February/March 2020, final admission offers will be made to successful candidates in April 2020. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in CAT, performance in GD-PI, academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, work experience among others.
