S.P Jain Institute of Management Research is a private B-School situated in the suburb of Andheri in Mumbai, Maharashtra; it is one of the first’s management colleges in Mumbai. Established in 1981 SPJIMR is arguably the best private B-school in India. The colleges has annual intake of about 700 acres to its 45 acre lavish campus. SPJIMR- Admission and Eligibility Criteria
- SPJIMR considers 10th, 11th and 12th marks as their standards, the applicant must be consistent in their hence academics.
- The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
- If the institute provides grades/CGPA instead of marks, a conversion of the same to equivalent percentage is mandatory. If no conversion factor is available/ provided, then obtained CGPA needs to be multiplied by conversion factor of 10 to obtain the percentage. The conversion certificate needs to be furnished during the interview process if shortlisted. If no conversion factor exists, then a certificate from the institution/university certifying the practice needs to be provided during the interview process if shortlisted.
- A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
- It is mandatory for a final year student, who is provisionally considered eligible by SPJIMR Mumbai and offered admission, to submit the mark-sheet and degree certificate of the final year bachelor's degree examination latest by December 31, 2020.
- The Applicant should register and appear for CAT 2019/XAT 2020 or GMAT (Taken between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2019) exam and must have scored minimum prescribed score in the entrance exam to become eligible for admission
- Work experience is not mandatory for this program. Fresh graduates and those with up to five years of work experience can apply.

SPJIMR- Admission process
- Choose Specialization at Application Stage
Firstly, carefully register and apply for admission to SPJIMR. While applying, the applicant is required to select two preferences from four specializations offered - Finance, Information Management, Marketing Management and Operations & Supply Chain.
- Appear in Entrance Exam
The candidate must have appeared or have registered to appear and score the minimum required percentile in CAT 2019/XAT 2020 or GMAT (Exam taken from Jan 1, 2017 to Dec 31, 2019)
- Shortlist
The first phase includes the candidates, short-listed for Interview round from among the candidates who have excellent profile for early interviews and the second phase includes the candidates shortlisted on the basis of their profile-cum-entrance exam score after declaration of entrance exam result for phase-2 interviews. These candidates must have applied to the program and must satisfy the eligibility criteria.
- Interview Round
after the short listing process, group interviews are held in different cities. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes profile, performance in entrance exam, performance in interview rounds and work experience among others.
- Final Admission Offer
Final Admission Offer will be made to the candidates in March 2020 on the basis of Final Merit Score.
