Faculty of Management Studies or Institute of Management Studies of Banaras Hindu University is one of the top B-schools in state of Uttar Pradesh, and one of the top 30 MBA colleges in India. IMS BHU was established in 1968, It was the second institute after IIFT which offered a degree program in International Administration. It offers PG Programs and Doctoral Programs in Management. Admission is based on Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIM’s and for foreign National students through GMAT or TOEFL Scores for the corresponding year of admission.
FMS BHU-Admissions and Eligibility Criteria
All PGDM/MBA applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution
Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for the admission at 2020-22 batch at FMS BHU.
Work experience is not necessary for getting a seat at FMS, but as per every management college FMS BHU also favors the applicant with a decent work experience.
A candidate must write CAT exam and score required minimum percentile for getting into FMS BHU.

IMS BHU has a similar application process like most of the management schools.

Interested candidates can apply online with the required information. Candidates who qualifies all the eligibility parameters can grab their information related to school certificates, and other.
MBA and MBA (IB) admission is based on candidates’ score in CAT followed by GD and PI rounds conducted by the University. A candidate need to qualify the required percentile for admissions at FMS BHU. MBA in Agriculture Business (AB) admission is granted as per BHU-Based entrance followed by GD and PI. BHU organizes entrance test for their undergraduate and postgraduate programs every year.
PGDBA admission depends only on candidates’ performance in GD and PI rounds. After qualifying the required cutoff of the respective entrances, a candidate is judged on the basis of their performances in the GD/PI round.
Admission to Ph.D. in Management is offered on the basis of the university level Common Research Entrance Test (CRET) followed by an interview. JRF/ UGC NET/ CSIR NET qualified candidates are also eligible to apply.
