IIFM BHOPAL-ELIGIBILITY, ADMISSION AND OTHER DETAILS
IIFM Bhopal or Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal is a premium b-school located in the city of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The college was established in 1982 and is an autonomous college in sectoral management running since then. The college was founded by ministry of environment forest and climate chnage and government of India with support of Swedish international development cooperation agency(SIDA), with IIM A being their assistance. IIFM Bhopal is accredited by AICTE, and is ranked as one of the finest Management institutes in the country.
IIFM-Admission and Eligibility
All PGDM applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution
Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for the admission at 2020-22 batch at IIFM Bhopal.
Work experience is not necessary for getting a seat at IIFM,but as per every management college IIFM bhopal also favors the applicant with a decent work experience.
A candidate must write CAT/XAT or GMAT exam and score required minimum percentile for getting into IIFM Bhopal.
IIFM-Admission Process
Register and Apply
Interested candidates can apply online with the required information. Candidates who qualify all the eligibility parameters can grab their information related to school certificates, and other.
Written Aptitude Test
Shortlisted candidates will be called for written aptitude test (WAT) based on percentile obtained in CAT/ XAT. Candidate who gets qualified in the respective exams such as CAT/XAT will be then given IIFM's in-house exam known as Wat, a candidate need to qualify WAT for qualifying for the next stage in the admission process. WAT asks normal quant questions and reasoning with current affairs too.
Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview based on performance in WAT. Those candidates who get qualify with the WAT are then called for the personal interview round and are interviewed at the IIFM campus. A candidate needs to qualify for WAT in order to get called in interview process.
Final Selection
Candidates are selected based on CAT/ XAT percentile and performance in WAT and personal interview.
Selection parameters and weightage:
CAT/ XAT Total Percentile- 60%
Written Aptitude Test- 15%
Personal Interview- 25%
