Indian Institute of Rural Management’s faculty of Management studies Jaipur is a registered, non government, non-profit, autonomous institution, engaged in research, training and consultations in management and rural development in the country. Since its establishment in 1988, SIIRM has undertaken management research and consultancy projects for, and on behalf of, the Central and State Governments, Corporate Houses. IRM is a premier institute in the field of Rural Management and is the pioneer institute in Northern India offering specialization in Rural Management & Rural Marketing.
FMS-Jaipur-Eligibility and Admission Criteria
- Candidates filling application program for the management courses with FMS Jaipur must hold a bachelor’s degree at the time of submitting the application.
- Candidates must have secured 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in class 10th and 12th from any college, university or institution recognized by any government educational board. . Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply required that they fulfill the aforementioned marks that are required in the final examination.
- Students applying for FMS Jaipur must have taken any of the management test such as CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA etc, the scores in any one of these exams will be required when the college releases their cutoff list for admissions in their different courses and the candidates who satisfy the cutoff will be shortlisted for the further process in admitting to FMS Jaipur.

FMS Jaipur-Admission Process
FMS-Jaipur designs a set of calculating the performance of the eligible candidates who has applied to any program in the faculty of management studies-Jaipur, which they have coined as IRMAT0Institute of Rural Management Admission Test.
- Register and apply for at least one of the entrance exams – CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA
- Complete the FMS-Jaipur application form. In the ‘Application Form’ the candidate must provide educational qualifications, contact details, and at least one of the following IDs: ID for CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA. More than one test IDs can be submitted. The applicant is required to fill the IDs of the test scores he/she wishes to submit
- Candidates are short-listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview (PI) from among the eligible candidates who have a valid entrance exam score and have applied to the program of FMS-Jaipur. The GD & Personal Interview process will be conducted prescribed dates scheduled by the college.
- After the GD & PI round, admission offers are made by FMS-Jaipur to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in entrance exam, performance in PI round, academics, Work Experience, co-curricular activities among others
