IIM SIRMAUR-ADMISSIONS, ELIGIBILITY AND DETAILS
The Indian Institute of Management, Sirmaur is one of the new IIMs in the prestigious Indian Institute of management family of management schools in India. Currently, the Institute offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management in general management of two years duration. The course is the flagship offering of the IIMs and the pedagogy followed by the Institute offers the same rigor as the other members of the IIM family. The institution started the first batch of its Post Graduate Program (PGP) in management from 4 September 2015. The institute has started groundwork for its activities under the guidance and mentorship of the Indian Institute of management, Lucknow.
IIM Sirmaur-Admissions and Eligibility Criteria
- IIM Sirmaur admission eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (in case of the candidate belonging to SC/ST/PWD category, the eligibility criterion is relaxed to 45%
- The candidate should appear in CAT 2019 exam and must score minimum prescribed sectional and overall score to become eligible for admission at IIM Sirmaur
- If the candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence to determine PGP admission eligibility would be based on the equivalence certified by the institution/university from where the bachelor's degree is obtained.
- A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results is also eligible to apply for IIM Sirmaur Admission 2020
- IIM Sirmaur Eligibility criterion further clarifies that such a candidate, if selected, will become ineligible for the IIM Sirmaur admission unless he/she submits a certificate latest by June 30, 2020 from authority of the institute.

IIM Sirmaur-Admission process
- The candidate must have appeared and scored the minimum required sectional and overall percentile in CAT 2019 to be considered for first stage screening process for admission at IIM Sirmaur
- Candidates are short-listed for CAP round comprising Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) from among the candidates who have a valid CAT-2019 score and who have applied for IIM Sirmaur Admission
- Shortlisting process from the pool of the candidates will be done by CAP 2020 coordinating IIM.
- After the CAP round, admission offers are made by IIM Sirmaur to successful candidates who have reconfirmed interest to IIM Sirmaur. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in WAT & PI, Performance in past academics, Performance in CAT 2019, Quality of Work Experience among others
- Final Admission Offer will be made in the last week of May 2020 on the basis of Final Score arrived after awarding the weightage scores on all the components. The academic session as IIM Sirmaur begins in July 2020.
