IMDR PUNE-ADMISSIONS, ELIGIBILITY AND DETAILS
Institute of Management Development and Research, Pune is the oldest B-school in Pune, established in 1974 and was incorporated by Deccan Education Society. In 2011 IMDR got AICTE approval, and currently IMDR is offering PGDM course approved by AICTE and DTE. It had been affiliated to Pune University for 3 years until the college voluntarily delinked itself from it in 1977. Since then, it has been operating autonomously. Previously, the admission to IMDR Pune 2019 was done through CAP. But now the admission from IMDR Pune 2019 is done by the college itself.
IMDR-Admission and Eligibility Details
- Candidates filling application program for the management courses with IMDR Pune must hold a bachelor’s degree at the time of submitting the application.
- Candidates must have secured 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in class 10th and 12th from any college, university or institution recognized by any government educational board. . Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply required that they fulfill the aforementioned marks that are required in the final examination.
- Students applying for IMDR Pune must have taken any of the management test such as CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/MH-CET etc, the scores in any one of these exams will be required when the college releases their cutoff list for admissions in their different courses and the candidates who satisfy the cutoff will be shortlisted for the further process in admitting to IMDR Pune.

IMDR Pune-Admission Process
- Register and apply for at least one of the entrance exams – CAT 2019; XAT 2020; CMAT, MAT, ATMA, MH-CET
- Complete the IMDR application form. In the ‘Application Form’ the candidate must provide educational qualifications, contact details, and at least one of the following IDs: ID for CAT-2019 OR ID for XAT-2020, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, and MH-CET. More than one test IDs can be submitted. The applicant is required to fill the IDs of the test scores he/she wishes to submit.
- If you application form gets approved by IMDR Pune, than a call or mail will be scheduled and details regarding the same will be forwarded, and the candidate would need to appear on the date, time and venue given by the IMDR Pune board for the group work and interview which will be the final deciding factor in the admission process at IMDR.
- IF you are selected for the PGDM, you will receive confirmation for the same and then the further steps such as seat allotment, fees, and other are conducted, and the final admission letter is then released.
