IIT Roorkee-Admission and Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have Graduates or a professional qualification equivalent to that of University degree recognized by UGC, in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST /PD). Final year students are also eligible to apply
Final year students of relevant undergraduate programs who have completed the requirements of qualifying exam can also apply. In case of non-availability of the marks of final exam at the time of the Interview/GD due to delay in the announcement of their results
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in responsible capacity in a Registered Firm/Company/Industry/Educational and Research Institution/Govt./Quasi in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. The educational institution should be recognized by AICTE
All the candidates are required to apply and appear for CAT for be able to eligible to apply for any management programs in IIT Roorkee and score or meet the cutoff percentile provided by the IIT Roorkee.

Register and apply for at least one of the entrance exams – CAT 2019
The candidate should apply to IIT Roorkee online by using the common application form
Complete the application form. In the ‘Application Form‘the candidate must provide educational qualifications, contact details, and CAT candidate ID.
Initial shortlisting of candidates, for sending invitation letters for Interview/GD, shall be done on the basis of their performance in CAT 2019.
The final merit for making offers of admission to the program will be on the basis of their aggregate performance in the CAT 2019 followed by group discussion, interview and their work experience as per respective weightage given below:
CAT Percentile 65%;
Group discussions 10%;
Interview 20%;
Work Experience 5%;
Based on the cumulative score from these, the merit list will be prepared and admissions are granted.
