WE School was established in 1977, and is accredited with UGC and NAAC. WE School is a premier B-School in the Maharashtra state. WE School was established under the aegis of Shikshana Prasarika Mandali Pune, Founded in 1888, Shikshana Prasarika Mandali is one of the pioneers of educational societies in Maharashtra. Wellingkar-Admission and Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, The graduation must be completed by June 2020
- The candidate should be registered and should appear in one of the following exams to be considered for admission at Wellingkar - CAT 2019/XAT 2020/CMAT 2020/MH-CET 2020/ATMA (Dec 2019 and Feb 2020 or GMAT (Taken from 2017 onwards) and must score positive to become eligible for admission.
- If the candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence to determine PGDM admission eligibility would be based on the equivalence certified by the institution/university from where the bachelor's degree is obtained
- A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results is also eligible to apply for Admission 2020.
- It is mandatory for a final year student, who is provisionally considered eligible by Wellingkar and offered admission, to submit the mark-sheet and degree certificate of the final year bachelor's degree examination by the stipulated date as announced by the institute.

Wellingkar-Admission Process
- Register, apply and appear in at least one of the entrance exams – CAT 2018, XAT 2019, CMAT 2019, MH-CET 2019, ATMA (Dec 2018/Feb 2019), GMAT (Taken Jan 1, 2016 onwards)
- The candidate should apply to Wellingkar Institute of Management Development and Research Mumbai by purchasing application form online. The application fee of Rs.2500/- should be paid online
- Submit the application form online latest by the date for Phase-1 Profile Based Shortlisting. The Phase-2 application process for non-profile based shortlisting opens in first week of February
- After the GD-PI round, admission offers are made by Wellingkar to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in entrance exam, performance in PI round, academics, Work Experience among others
- Final Admission Offer will be made to the candidates in the last week of April/May on the basis of Final Score arrived after awarding the weightage scores on all the components.
