NMAT- An Introduction.
NMAT 2019 or NMIMS Management Aptitude Test-2019, It is a nationwide test accepted by many premier B-Schools in India like NMIMS, ISB, SPJIMR etc. It is a test registered by GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council). NMAT has gained massive audience over the past few years, being it’s name associated with NMIMS, the credibility of the test automatically rises.
This year, NMAT 2019 is scheduled from October 4 to December 17. Candidates must book a slot as per their preference and real time availability at the time of registration, ending on October 16. NMAT can be taken up to a maximum of 3 times (first attempt plus 2 retakes).
NMAT- Exam Structure
NMAT exam pattern is similar to all national level MBA entrance exams like CAT and XATNMAT by GMAC 2019 exam pattern is to remain as per past 3 years trends. Accordingly, the NMAT by GMAC Exam Pattern 2019 as announced by GMAC will be a computer based test with MCQ question types. The biggest benefit of NMAT exam pattern is you can take the exam three times in a given admissions cycle. This gives you the opportunity to improve your score, NMAT also gives you liberty to choose date, time and test centre location by yourself.
There are 3 sections in NMAT 2019 exam pattern. The sections are Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. The NMAT Exam Pattern also prescribes that all the three sections in NMAT exam are individually timed. Besides there is no negative marking in NMAT by GMAC 2019 exam pattern.
Total questions in Language section are 32, which need to be attempted in 22 minutes, In Quant there would be 48 Questions which should be attempted in an hour and lastly in reasoning there can be 40 questions to be attempted in 38 minutes.

Here are some important tips on cracking NMAT-2019
Manage Time
NMAT has 120 questions without minus marking, so it is easy to lured on attempting all the questions, but remember you should only attempt those question in which you are 100% confident, as there is a strict time allotted to every section and you have to complete the respective section in the provided time only. Quant has the highest concentration of questions in the test so you should practice quant as much as you can.
Mock test and online material
After brushing up your basics on quant, reasoning and language, You should start practicing more and more on each topic separately and try to solve at least 1 mock test paper per day. The key is that practice more so you get more chances to cracking NMAT.  There are plenty of study material available online, try to gulp as much as you can. You can also consider study material offline by some coaching institutes.
Brushing Up Basics
For preparing yourself for exam such as NMAT itself, you should be all clear in mind about the basics of what you’re attempting you should read articles, solve reasoning questions and puzzles, and clear all the topics’ basics rules and tricks in quant. The question asked are based on basics 10th standard level, but in a complex form so first clear your basics up guys.
Increase Familiarity with type of questions.
In order to attempt and solve every type of questions in NMAT or any other exam whatsoever, you should solve enough as to any given question doesn’t feels alien to you conceptually, learn, brush and practice all the concepts regarding all the topics for any given exam. You should increase the understanding of each type of question that are asked in NMAT so solve as much as  yiou can.;
