Secondly.  CAT deals on the area of Data interpretation and logical Reasoning, which tests the ability of data handling and reasoning of the trends provided, amongst the simple topics like venn diagrams and graphs, there are more logical and understanding based topics like caselets and binary logic. You have to be very clear in your logics and should be able to deal with the data given to you in a more logical and definitive approach.
Last but not the least is VA RC i.e.  Verbal Aptitude and Reading comprehension, there is one thing about this segment, there is no exact syllabus for it, broadly it deals with grammar, active/passive voice, speech, etc but mainly with comprehension part, comprehension comprises for about 70% of VA-RC part. For solving them, you have to read, like a lot of reading is to be done, from newspaper article, booklets, magazines, online blogs, books, anywhere, question comprising on RC, are logical and you should have an in-depth knowledge, and should be able to see behind the curtains of what is said.
